Sandro Gepiro Contaldo is currently research technician at Department of Computer Science of the University of Turin under the project SUS-MIRRI.IT (Strengthening the MIRRI Italian Research Infrastructure for Sustainable Bioscience and Bioeconomy).
He got his Master Degree in 2023 at the University of Turin in Computer Science with the thesis “Deployment of ICT services for the Italian Microbial Resource Research Infrastructure” supervised by Prof. Marco Beccuti.
His current research interests are in the area of computational analysis of microbiome, the understanding of the impact of microorganisms reign and the development of reproducible tools and architecture using HPC.
He has been a visiting master student at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine, Université du Luxembourg.
