Associate professor
My research interests focus on the study of complex systems in the field of bioinformatics. In particular, my work emphasizes the modeling of biological systems for personalized medicine and epidemiology, where accuracy and precision of computational models are crucial. I am interested in the design of bioinformatics algorithms and workflows for the analysis and integration of multi-omics data, such as RNA and DNA, with careful attention to scalability on High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructures and to the reproducibility of results.
